GitHub announced their Copilot X adopting GPT-4 to provide chat and voice
interfaces and change the way software engineers interact with the source
code. The evolution of software engineering was always building abstractions
upon abstractions - from machine code through assembly language to high level
programming langages which by itself also eveolved similar way. Can AI change
the way we code and introduce another level of abstraction - the AI-prompt
generated source code?..
Synergy is achieved when the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts. It’s similar
difference as between a group of people and a team. While each team is a group of people
the opposite isn’t true. In order the group of individuals to became a team
they need to pursue a common goal, share values, establish a trust relationship.
The difference is in psychological safety. Team can achieve more than a group
of individuals...
What can be automated, eventually will be automated
End of the year had brought AI to naffy. Recent popularity of ChatGPT
and other AI powered projects had pushed many products into adapting or at least
experimenting with AI in their solutions. No wonder Google is rising the alarm
as products like ChatGPT had proven their potential to revolutionize the way we
search for information on the web. Some approaches were taken already,
but none had succeeded to beat the Google in their core service. However the
Google’s position had been challenged like never before...
Finally we’ve launched new naffy the next iteration of our product
allowing to monetize knowledge, time, expertise and pretty much anything
online. Coincidentally at the same time NASA had launched their Artemis 1 mission.
Who knows maybe in future we’ll be selling tickets for space travels through naffy?
That would be something...
